And we were on their way back from a week, and my book was finished, and I thought, I wonder if they've got a book in the airport. It was a tiny little, almost a cupboard of a book shop, and I looked for the English language books, and there were six in a shelf. And there was this one called Cross Stitch, and actually what drew my eye first of all it was nice and thick. I thought, it will last me. Une attention particulière est ensuite apportée aux espaces et aux réseaux, notamment pour analyser le tissage narratif (Breda) qui se noue entre les personnages de séries adaptées de romans. Une dernière partie s’interroge sur les limites du prisme narratologique dans l’analyse des séries télévisées, en convoquant la sémio-pragmatique, en envisageant les séries comme des systèmes complexes, ou encore en s’intéressant à leur dimension intermédiale, pour esquisser de nouvelles pistes d’exploration de ces objets en perpétuelle évolution.
