INVITATION for BIDS Date INVITATION FOR BIDS Date: 6th July 2013 IDB Financing No:UZB0060 Deadline:15:00 4th September 2013 1. The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank towards the cost of “SUPPORT TO SECONDARY EDUCATION SECTOR IN UZBEKISTAN” Project and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for construction of 13 secondary schools. Bidding is open to all bidders from Member Countries as defined in the Guidelines for the Procurement of Goods and Works under IDB financing. 2. The Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan is an Executing Agency invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of the following 13 secondary schools: LotN Location Capacity o. Bidding documents (and additional copies) may be purchased at Project Implementation unit (PIU), address: 100159, Tashkent, Mustakillik square, 5, room-813, tel/fax.+998712391705, [email protected], for a nonrefundable fee of 200 USD (without banking services) or its equivalent in a national currency on the rate of the Central Bank of RUz on the date of the payment, for each set. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the same address. 4. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 after Bid opening and must be accompanied by security of 2,5%, and shall be delivered to Project Implementation unit (PIU), address: 100159, Tashkent, Mustakillik square, 5, room-813, tel/fax.+998712391705, [email protected] on or before 15:00 4th September 2013, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend. 5. Not allowed to participate in competitive bidding procedures the applicants are in the stage of reorganization (split, merge), liquidation or bankruptcy, whose property is seized. 6. All bidders shall include the following information and documents with their bids: proposals for subcontracting components of the Works amounting to more than 10 percent of the Contract Price. 7. When filling out the bill of quantities a detailed breakdown of other costs must be provided. 8. The essential equipment to be made available for the Contract by the successful Bidder indicated in the clause 4.3d «Bidding Data». 9. Taking into account that the competitive biddings are international, the price of bids should be submitted in USD without VAT. .

This article analyzes cases of juvenile delinquency in Uzbekistan over the years of independence in the case of public schools in the Kashkadarya region and explains the causes and causes of increased youth crime rates across the district. In 2018, 5.2 million children studied in 9.7 thousand secondary schools in Uzbekistan. More than 450,000 teachers taught them. Today, it can be seen that these numbers have increased significantly. In order to implement the priorities set out in the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 21, 2000 No 360 "On improving the activities of commissions on juvenile affairs" a number of positive steps have been taken to prevent juvenile delinquency in collaboration with the commission, the prosecution, the police and the public education departments.
