Types of article Types of paper Full-length research articles, Short Communications, Reviews and Mini Reviews, Analytical Methods papers, Current Trends, Hypotheses, and Expert View. As a guideline, Short Communications and Mini- Reviews should have a maximum length of 2,000 words and Reviews 3,000 words, excluding graphical abstract, highlights, references, abstract. Expert Views are invitation-only contributions. Nomination of one or a group (3 maximum) of expert colleagues who have made substantial contributions to one area of the field are welcome. The nominations should be made by at least two independent members and will be considered by the Editors. Self-nominations will not be accepted. The Expert View will be published along with a brief Vita and a picture(s) of the authors.
