Day 4

During a 3-hour tour, you will visit all the popular travel attractions of the city and discover interesting facts and stories from its history. During the tour, you will see the main church of the city – Annunciation Cathedral with an elaborated exterior. Another point of interest is Assumption Cathedral with a high Belltower. Moreover, you will visit Pokrovsky male monastery and discover its history. You will discover one of the symbols of the city – the Mirror Steam Fountain, located on the Sumskaya Street, facing the Kharkiv Theater of Opera and Ballet. You guide will show you the monument to the Founders of the city. Then you’ll enter one of the biggest squares of Europe – Svobody (Freedom) Square, and see its highlight – the building of Gosprom (Derzhprom) – the first skyscraper of the city and an example of constructivism style in architecture. The building of the State Kharkiv University also faces Freedom Square. Mezhygorie represents a very beautiful park with well-groomed lawns, beds with wonderful exotic plants and flowers, amazing clear water ponds with decorative fountains and other water features. Found in the grounds close to the house are fine sculptures and numerous ponds, the extravagant waste was also extended to the ducks of the complex, they were provided with several specially designed duck houses!
