The True Freshman impact in 2009 True freshmen made a big impact for the Terriers in 2009, primarily on the defensive side of the ball. Eleven true freshmen played, with four getting starts. LB Anthony Carden started six games and LB SeQuan Stanley started six games as well. CB Blake Wylie started five games and Stephon Shelton had two starts. Stanley was third on the team in tackles, while Wylie was seventh with 37 tackles. Other true freshmen with playing time included DB Rob Williams, LB Mark Flott, LB Phillip LeGrande, S Jamar Reaves, DL Josh Roseborough, DB C.J. Turner and PK Christian Reed. A majority of true freshmen were redshirted for the season.
