2018 ALL-SOUTHERN CONFERENCE POSITION CHANGES The Southern Conference announced the 2018 football postseason awards on November 20. TERRIERS IN THE NFL Three Terriers were on NFL rosters at the beginning of training camp in 2019. Defensive lineman Miles Brown ‘19 signed as a rookie free agent with the and was on the 53-man roster on opening weekend and played in weeks two and three before moving to the practice squad. Safety JoJo Tillery ‘19 signed as a rookie free agent with the Tennessee Titans and was waived after training camp. Punter Kasey Redfern ‘14 signed as a free agent with the in 2019 and was waived after training camp. He was signed by the on October 11 and has played in the last three game. MR. RICHARDSON Jerry Richardson came to Wofford in the mid-1950s as an unheralded pass receiver from Fayetteville, N.C. By the time he left to begin his pro career with the Colts, the passing combination of Charlie Bradshaw to Jerry Richardson had received nationwide fame. Richardson was an Associated Press Little All-America selection in 1957 and ‘58. He still holds Wofford’s single-game record with 241 receiving yards vs. Newberry in 1956 and is the record holder for touchdown receptions in a season (9 in 1958) and in a career (21). As a senior at Wofford, he scored 72 points on nine touchdowns, 12 extra points and two field goals. Drafted by the defending world champion Colts, Richardson played two seasons in the NFL, earning Colt Rookie of the Year honors in 1959 and finishing third in the balloting for top NFL rookie. He was the founder of the Carolina Panthers. In 2015, Wofford announced the construction of two new facilities on campus donated by Richardson. The Rosalind S. Richardson Center for the Arts opened in the spring of 2017 and is the home to

The Mocs scored twice in the fourth quarter to take a 28-21 lead, but the Terriers two-minute drill resulted in a touchdown to tie the game with 19 seconds remaining.
