The code is implemented on a 8K processors massively data-parallel computer. An explicit finite difference method is used both in space and time for the discretization of the wave equation. The code is used here to analyse a problem of rhythmic crowd motion at a rock music concert in a soccer stadium. High vibrational levels were observed in the area and parts of the stadium itself were shaking heavily. The ground consist of soft clay. During one particular song more than five hundred load cycles were applied. Panicle velocities up to 18 mm/s were estimated. This together with the large number of loading cycles may explain the occurrence of excess vibrations on the ground and in the stadium itself.

Bereits der Begriff „Stadion“ ist unscharf. Seinem ursprünglichen Iris Dressler Wortsinn nach bezeichnet er ein antikes griechisches Längenmaß, das den Namen für eine von Zuschauerrängen umgebene, U-förmige Lauf- bahn prägte. Medienmitteilung Kieser Training: Heiko Krink Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung Zürich, November 2020: Heiko Krink ist Chief Sales Officer (CSO) der Kieser Training AG in Zürich. Seit August verantwortet er als Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung die Bereiche PR und Marketing, Sponsoring, Vertrieb und Franchise-Management. Hauptaufgabe des 44-Jährigen ist es, den strategischen Ausbau des Vertriebs voranzutreiben. „Mit 166 Studios ist Kieser Training nicht nur eine starke Marke, sondern auch ein starker Kooperationspartner“, so Mitinhaber und CEO Michael Antonopoulos. „Mit dem erfahrenen Sport- und Vertriebsmanager Heiko Krink als Mitglied der somit fünfköpfigen Geschäftsführung wollen wir dieses große Potenzial verstärkt nutzen.“ „Ich freue mich auf meine neuen Aufgaben. Dort begann er als Director Football Rights. Anschließend war er als Director Premium Partnerships in der Hauptniederlassung in Hamburg sowie bei der Vermarktung des Hamburger SV im Volksparkstadion tätig.
