His father Richard Platt. I've long been a fan of Oxenbury and I was eager to learn about her career. He also teaches children's literature and child development at New York University. Careers, lovely homes, happy lives and babies on the way. So they just sort of piled paper and crayons in front of me — there was no television, not many books. Loved it. Not sure what children will be this interested in the publishing industry - it doesn't really read like a non-fiction title for kids. Sort order. From to she was the Highly Commended runner up four times [2] [a] and she won again for an edition of Alice in Wonderland Walker, There are no discussion topics on this book yet. I loved reading the stories behind the baby and toddler books, and of course Bear Hunt, and the backstory for Alice which we happen to have a copy of we also have the one with older illustrations and I've debated with myself for years about keeping both.
