Perhaps this was done to reduce the sale price, as it was trimmed as Master Deluxe. 3,629 were produced. The 1936 Chevrolet Standard 2-door Town Sedan was a big seller with 220,884 delivered. The 1936 Chevrolet Standard 4-door sedan was not picked by many buyers, due to its sparse trunk. Only 1,142 were made. The 1936 Chevrolet Standard 2-door Coach still sold well even with its small trunk with 76,646 delivered. Perhaps its reasonable price of $510 was the reason.
