[email protected] UPDATED 2014 FALL CALENDAR!! Fall Back into Great Hampton Events Hampton, Virginia- This fall, grab your sweater and head to Hampton, Virginia for some awesome autumn events. Whether closing out summer and ushering in fall at the 32nd annual Hampton Bay Days, paddling up a storm at the Ku’ono Paddle Series at Paradise Ocean Club, dancing the night away at the Fourth annual Shag at the Foodbank, enjoying “chili” weather at the Five-Alarm Festival, or attending the Coliseum Central Parade or one of many other holiday celebrations, there is something for the entire family to “fall” in love with in Hampton. Close out summer and usher in fall at the 32nd annual Hampton Bay Days, September 5-7. In 1982, Hampton Bay Days was created as a unique outlet to educate the public on the importance of the Chesapeake Bay in the Hampton Roads region, as well as the rest of Virginia and Maryland. The goal of the festival is to provide an entertaining -More- UPDATED 2014 FALL CALENDAR!! Fall Back into Great Hampton Events- Page 2 atmosphere while ultimately serving the greater purpose of highlighting aspects of the bay and promoting its upkeep and preservation. About 150,000 people are expected to attend the 32nd anniversary celebration in downtown Hampton. Activities include live musical entertainment, over 100 merchandise and craft vendors, a 30-minute fireworks display, bay education area, and more. Head to Paradise Ocean Club at Historic Fort Monroe in Hampton, Virginia on September 13-14 for the Ku’ono Paddle Series presented by Sports Hampton.
