Support legislation to implement pension increases, strengthen ERS and TRS pension funds

Increases the monthly benefit of ERS retirees by 10% and provides HB 425 Rep. for a 4% annual cost of living adjustment. Referred to the House Pensions Committee.

Authorizes a 3% or $100 a month, whichever is less, cost of living SB 93 Sen. Jose Menendez adjustment (COLA) for TRS retirees who retired between 2004 and 2015. Referred to the State Affairs Committee.

Raises the state maximum contribution to the ERS pension fund SB 1862 Sen. Jose Menendez from 10 percent of payroll to 11 percent. Referred to the State SJR 60 Affairs Committee.
