These rules are only for admission to B. Pharm-1st Year at the Y. B. Chavan College of Pharmacy, Aurangabad. B. The candidates shall carefully go through these rules before proceeding to fill the application form. C. All the aspiring candidates shall fill in the online application form for admission available on college website (www.ybccpa.ac.in) and take a print after filling form. Application Form: A. Separate application is made available along with the information brochure and rules for admission. B. The candidates shall submit the application form complete in all the respect along with the attested Xerox copies of all the documents as mentioned below to the Principal of the College on or before 5.00 pm of the last date prescribed for submitting the application form. For all candidates: 1. SSC (Std X) mark sheet 2. HSC (Std XIIth) mark sheet 3. School leaving certificate after passing HSC (Std XII) 4. Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate that is a) School leaving certificate indicating the Nationality of the Candidate as “Indian” Or b) Indian Passport in the name of the candidate, issued appropriate authorities Or c) Birth certificate of candidate indicating place of birth. 5. MHT-CET 2020 Score card / NEET - 2020 Score card is required for candidate seeking admission. 2 6. Final year of the Diploma in Pharmacy exam mark list (for candidates passing in Diploma in Pharmacy). 7. Candidates shall not be allowed to make any correction additions / omission in the application form once submitted. Also no additional documents shall be accepted once the application form is submitted. 8. Application forms which are incomplete or in which there is over writing of such nature that it is resulting in to doubt or suspicion shall be summarily rejected and no correspondence of any sort shall be entertained to that effect. 9. Bond Paper of Rs. 100/- each (2nos.) for students & parents for Anti-Ragging affidavit purpose at the time of admission. The selection of candidate shall be strictly on merit and order of preference which shall be determine as per guidelines provided in the “Information brochure of Academic year 2020–2021 for B. Pharm first year admission, Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell”. Eligibility criteria of candidates. A. Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates (i) The candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together; (iii) The candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2020 and obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2020. 3 B. All India Candidature Candidates. – (i) The candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together; (iii) Should obtain non zero positive score in NEET or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2020 and obtain non zero score in MHT- CET 2020. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in NEET over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MHT- CET 2020. Procedure for Admission: Merit of the applicants shall be determined according to the Rule–5 mentioned in the “Information brochure of Academic year 2020–2021 for B. Pharm first year admission, Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell”. The merit list shall be notified on the notice board of the College as per the schedule notified by this College. The exact time and date of notification can be ascertained from the Admission Program on the Notice Board and institutional website (www.ybccpa.ac.in). On the same day on which the Merit list shall be notified, the date and time on which all the applicants are expected to be present with the Original Documents and the fees shall be notified. The applicants seeking admission must remain present with all the documents and the prescribed fees on the said date and time so that in case they are offered admission, they can confirm the same immediately by remitting the prescribed fees. The merit list for the Candidates as per rule 5(1), 5(2), 5(3) and 5(6) of these rules shall be prepared on the basis of marks or score secured by the Candidate in the MHT-CET 2020 conducted by the Competent Authority or marks or score secured in any other examination conducted by the concerned 4 appropriate authority for the purpose of admission to these Courses. Provided that, in case of tie, the relative merit of different Candidatures shall be resolved in the following order of preference and the methodology as specified below, (a) Higher marks or score in Mathematics or Biology at CET (b) Higher marks or score in Physics at CET; (c) Higher marks or score in Chemistry at CET; (d) Higher percentage of marks in Physics, Mathematics or Biology and Chemistry added together at Board or qualifying examination; (e) Higher percentage of marks in the subject Mathematics or Biology at HSC; (f) Higher percentage of marks in the subject Physics at HSC; (g) Higher percentage of marks in aggregate in HSC. Reservation: There is no reservation for any caste or any other kind in the institute level round. All seats are OPEN. Fees for admission The interim fee structure for the Colleges approved by the Fee Regulating Authority is given in the table below. Students who will be admitted in the year 2020-2021 and the students taking admission in the College will have to pay the fees accordingly. The candidate should have taken admission by paying necessary tuition fee and should have submitted original certificates before he/she applies for cancellation. In case candidate fails to submit any of the original documents within the allowed time limit, the admission shall be treated as cancelled. 2. The Candidate shall apply online for cancellation and submit duly signed copy of system generated application for cancellation of admission to the institution. Once the candidate submits online request for cancellation, his/her admission shall be treated as cancelled. The candidate shall then become entitled to and the Institute shall refund the entire fees to the candidate after deduction of Rs.1000/- towards processing charges and return all his/her original documents submitted to the Institute. 3. Not with standing clause above, candidate shall not be entitled to any refund of his/her fee except the Security Deposit and Caution Money Deposit, if the online cancellation is effected by the candidate after 5.00 p.m. of the cut-off date prescribed by the “B. Pharm first year admission schedule, Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell”. (Refer Rule No. 15 on page no 38 Cancellation of Admission and Refund of fees, return of documents by Institutions, if applicable.) 4. It is mandatory to the Principal/Director of the Institution to cancel the admission of the candidate and issue the receipt of cancellation to the candidate. 6 Issue of College leaving Certificate: If during the course of studies, a candidate desires to discontinue studies for any reason whatsoever, he or she shall be allowed to do so and it shall be presumed that he or she has cancelled admission at that stage. The Principal shall issue College Leaving Certificate and fees shall be refunded as per the rules mentioned. If the admission is cancelled on or before the last date of reporting of each CAP round, the original school /College leaving certificate on the strength of which a candidate admitted shall be returned. If the admission is cancelled after the last date of reporting each round of CAP, the leaving certificate from the institution where the candidate was finally admitted should be issued. A true copy of the original school or college leaving certificate retained by the institute may be issued, if requested by the candidate duly attested by the Head of the Institute. Refund of Fees: The candidate who has been provisionally admitted may cancel admission by submitting an application in duplicate in the prescribed proforma and may request for refund of fees. The refund of fees as applicable shall be made in due course. It is made clear that such application for cancellation will be considered if and only if the admission is confirmed by paying the prescribed fees in full and by submitting the original documents.
