  • Let the Season Begin!
Let the Season Begin! N ovember is finally here! Which means it is time to start playing some basketball games! We have our home/season opener against LIU Brooklyn TONIGHT and we couldn’t be more excited to get the season ocially underway! The Lady J’s have put in such a great summer, pre-season, and now over a month of practices and are ready to get going! We hope to see you in the stands this season cheering on the Lady J’s! #play GREEN 1 On October 15th, our entire team along with numerous other Jasper athletes joined in to participate in the American Cancer Society Breast Cancer walk in Central Park headed up by our S.A.A.C. It was a great way to show our support and love for those who have been aected by this disease in any way. Our student-athlete commitment to serving the community and showing support for these tremendous organizations is truly second to none. We continue to be committed to being Jasper Strong! #play GREEN 2 Congrats Gabby! Junior guard, Gabby Cajou, was selected preseason All-MAAC 2nd team by the conference coaches. Gabby was last year’s MAAC 6th Man of the Year, the first one in program history, and looking to have a breakout season this year. She sits beside some of the conference’s best players on the second team, an honor that she is truly grateful for and one that wouldn’t be possible without her teammates. The Lady J’s were picked to finish 6th overall in the preseason poll.
