The Lynyrd Skynyrd Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour will be featured on Saturday night along with fellow Southern rockers Gov’t Mule and Molly Hatchet. Thursday night will showcase Train and The Goo Goo Dolls Summer Tour 2019 with special guest Allen Stone along with Candlebox. Friday will start off with a heavy dose of the 80s with Vixen, Survivor and 80s superstar Rick Springfield before amping up the main stage with Skillet. Moondance owner and promoter Kathy Bieloh is excited to get the show going, “My staff and I are so thrilled to see all of our Moondance family together again for the long weekend. We love seeing familiar smiling faces and all of the new jammers too. And we are so happy to have so many fantastic artists and bands hitting our main stage and our three side stages. It’s going to be a blast in the concert area and in the campgrounds.” For fans that purchase three-day festival tickets, there is a free Pre Jam Party on Wednesday night that has become a concert experience on its own with four shows in the Saloon, three mainstage shows and fans encouraged to dress up retro style celebrating their favorite era of rock ‘n’ roll.

Online radio gained ground in 2015 as listeners aged 25-54 tuned to the medium in record numbers. No longer just a habit for 12-24 year-olds, half of Americans aged 25- 54 listen weekly to AM/FM radio stations online or to streamed audio content available only on the internet, according to new findings from Edison Research and Triton Digital. Weekly listening among 25-54 year-olds increased by over a third during the past year. Online radio is now a majority activity and the gap between monthly and weekly listening is closing. Over half of the U.S. population (53%) now listens to online radio monthly and 44% tune in weekly. In fact, the percent that listen weekly has doubled during the past four years. As the medium matures, the impact of a new crop of older, more casual listeners may be impacting average time spent with it. For the first time since 2008, Edison reports a slight decrease in weekly time spent listening to online radio, from 13 hours, 19 minutes in 2014 to 12 hours, 53 minutes in 2015. However the total time consumed continues to rise. Usage is continuing to shift from desktops and laptops to smartphones. Nearly three quarters of weekly online radio listeners tune in on a smartphone, up from 66% last year. As listening on desktops (61%) and tablets (32%) declined slightly, streaming audio consumption on internet-connected TVs rose sharply, from 12% to 18% during the past year.

    Cass Lake 04-0030-00 BELTRAMI COUNTY Lake Water Quality Summary Cass Lake is located at the city of Cass Lake, MN, and spans both Cass and Beltrami Counties. It covers 15,958 acres and is the 8th largest lake in Minnesota in terms of surface area. Cass Lake has four inlets and one outlet, which classify it as a drainage lake. Water enters Cass Lake from the Mississippi River, Kitchi Lake, Pike Bay, and a ground-fed stream in the northeast. The Mississippi River enters and exits Cass Lake. Cass Lake water levels are affected by the operation of two dams on the Mississippi River. Otter Tail Power Company operates a dam upstream, just below Stump Lake. At the Cass Lake outlet is Knutson Dam, owned and operated by the U.S. Forest Service. A Superfund cleanup site exists on Pike Bay near the south side of Cass Lake. Water quality data have been collected on Cass Lake at various sites from 1979-2015 (Tables 2 & 3). These data show that the lake is mesotrophic (TSI = 44) with moderately clear water conditions most of the summer and excellent recreational opportunities. Cass Lake does not have an association. Its water quality is managed by the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Division of Resource Management. Table 1. Cass Lake location and key physical characteristics. The population is continuing to grow with a 5.4% increase since 2010. Beltrami County is located in a beautiful landscape of coniferous forests, birch trees, tamarack swamps, and lake chains. With a total land area of 2,505 square miles, Beltrami is the 4th largest county in the state. The Mississippi Headwaters State Forest, Buena Vista State Forest, and Chippewa National Forest are found in Beltrami County.
