Goodman to build 45,000 sqm facility for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in Hanover Date 2 November 2011 Release Immediate Goodman Group (Goodman) has signed a major pre-committed development in Germany with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles on a new built-to-suit production facility in Hanover. The external supply centre has an area of approximately 45,000 sqm and will incorporate just-in-time supply for the production of the Amarok, one of Volkswagen’s commercial vehicles. Today’s announcement confirms Goodman’s position as the market leader in the development and management of logistics facilities in Germany. “Goodman has a strong track record in the development of logistics facilities for the automotive industry, which we have demonstrated through projects in recent months that include BMW in Leipzig, Mercedes-Benz in Malsch. We are delighted to have been selected by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles as their project partner and with the confidence placed in us and our proven experience in delivering quality logistics space for our customers. We also hope to be more involved in the Hanover region in the future,” said Andreas Fleischer, Goodman Country Manager for Germany. For the current project, Goodman acquired a total area of 83,000 sqm in the “Schwarze Heide“ (Black Heath) commercial area of Hanover, near Volkswagen’s commercial vehicle production facility. The site has convenient links to the A2 and A353 as well as to Hanover Airport and the Nordhafen port in Hanover. The new building offers approximately 45,000 sqm of undercover storage area. Guided Small Group Cycling Tour
Guided small group cycling tour Amalfi Coast & Cilento Cycling the Coast of the Sirens Enjoy the best of southern Italy: from the unknown Cilento to the dramatic Amalfi Coast TRIP NOTES 2020 © Genius Loci Travel. All rights reserved. [email protected] | www.genius-loci.it ***GENIUS LOCI TRAVEL - The Real Spirit Of Italy*** Guided small group cycling tour INTRODUZIONE The regions of Amalfi and the Cilento have been known as a paradise on earth since ancient times. The Greeks built some of their most impressive temples here and under the Romans they formed part of ‘Campania Felix’, or the Happy Land. When travelling here, one easily becomes overwhelmed by the well-known cultural and natural attractions of the famous ‘Costiera Amalfitana’ with its towering cliffs and picturesque coves. However, the Cilento region south of Salerno, now one of Italy’s biggest National Parks, where the coastline bulges out into an expanse of mountainous landmass, is also well worth a visit. This tour gives you the opportunity to discover both the busy, touristy Amalfi and the quiet, peaceful Cilento. Here in the Cilento National Park you pass through world-famous cultural sites that are UNESCO World Heritage listed, such as Velia and Paestum, and visit some of the nicest medieval villages in the area, both along the coast and slightly inland, where the traditional way of life is still evident. All these attractions are connected by great well-paved and quiet roads, ideal for cycling. Of course there will also be plenty of time to enjoy the splendid beaches and wonderful food on offer. -

SUMMARY OF NATURAL VALUES The site, comprising 181,041 ha. is located in central-southern Italy, in the Campania region, and Salerno Province. Of this total size 20 core zones make up 26,000ha (i.e. 14%) with the remainder being in the buffer zone (50,000ha) and transitional zone (105,000h) categories. Cilento is in the Mediterranean Sclerophyll biogeographical province. The area is characterised by mountains, valleys and coast. It is bounded on the north and east by the Vallo di Diano, and on the west and south by the coast and Tyrrhenian Sea. The relief results from the collision of tectonic plates, mountain building, and fluvial and marine erosion. In the east and north are the highest mountains, composed of limestone with stratified dolomites. They include Mount Alberni (1742m), Mount Cocuzzo (1411m), Mount Motola (1700m), and Mount Cervati (1898m). This area is separated from the western region by several river valleys, notably that of the River Calore. In the western area, the highest massif is Mount Sacro or Gelbison (1705m), composed of limestone, quartz, sandstone, conglomerate and clay. -
