Once again HSC Art students and their teachers Ms Duff and Mr Tan have achieved tremendous success with SIX nominations to be considered for inclusion in ARTEXPRESS for 2018. ARTEXPRESS is a showcase of HSC Bodies of Work, as a Schools Spectacular high quality teaching and learning resource representing best practice in visual arts education. The works are nominated by HSC markers deemed to be excellent examples What a privilege it was to go to the Schools Spectacular, of Bodies of Work. The amount of time that students have dedicated to perfect and ‘Own the Moment’ to see the amazing talent of performing arts produce their work is a reflection of their passion and commitment to deliver high students from NSW public schools. University Western – True Reward Early Offer Program

As our HSC students anxiously await their results, Western Sydney University announces a new program to support students in being able to access tertiary education. In a first for 2018, Western Sydney University is now offering students a chance to apply for an early offer based on HSC subject band outcomes, instead of the ATAR. Numerous courses are included in this True Reward Early Offer Program. As an example, to enroll Sethana Meas’s body of work ‘Transcendent Spectrum’ in a Bachelor of Nursing (Advanced) students require a Band 5 or higher in English and Biology or a Bachelor of Business requires a Band 4 or higher in Business Studies. For the full matrix of courses and the HSC subject and Band requirement search for Western Sydney University - 2018 Early Offer HSC Subject Matrix. Applications close on the 11th December 2017.
