EXECUTIVE COUNCIL ACT MINISTER OF ENVIRONMENT, ENERGY AND FORESTRY AUTHORITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT (ECOENERGY TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVE NON-REPAYABLE CONTRIBUTION AGREEMENT) WITH THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA
Pursuant to clause 10(a) of the Executive Council Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. E-12 Council authorized the Minister of Environment, Energy and Forestry, as Minister Responsible for the Prince Edward Island Energy Corporation, to enter into an agreement with the Government of Canada, as represented by the Minister of Natural Resources, to continue funding eligible costs of the PEI Hydrogen Shuttle Bus and Fuelling Station Demonstration Project for fiscal years 2008/09 and 2009/10, such as more particularly described in the draft agreement.

Under authority of subsection 4(2) of the Public Departments Act, R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. P–29 the following appointments were made:
1. Honourable Ron MacKinley to be Acting Minister of Communities, Cultural Affairs and Labour commencing on the 24th February 2009, and continuing for the duration of the absence from the Province of Honourable Carolyn Bertram.
2. Honourable Allan Campbell to be Acting Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development and Acting Attorney General from the 26th through 27th February 2009, from the 1st through to the 10th March 2009, and from the 13th March 2009 and continuing for the duration of the absence from the Province of Honourable Gerard Greenan; Honourable Robert Ghiz to be Acting Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development and Acting Attorney General on the 28th February 2009; and Honourable Wes Sheridan to be Acting Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development on the 11th and 12th March 2009.
