44 EXECUTIVE COUNCIL ___________________________ 24 FEBRUARY 2009 EC2009-92 EXECUTIVE COUNCIL ACT MINISTER OF ENVIRONMENT, ENERGY AND FORESTRY AUTHORITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT (ECOENERGY TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVE NON-REPAYABLE CONTRIBUTION AGREEMENT) WITH THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA Pursuant to clause 10(a) of the Executive Council Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. E-12 Council authorized the Minister of Environment, Energy and Forestry, as Minister Responsible for the Prince Edward Island Energy Corporation, to enter into an agreement with the Government of Canada, as represented by the Minister of Natural Resources, to continue funding eligible costs of the PEI Hydrogen Shuttle Bus and Fuelling Station Demonstration Project for fiscal years 2008/09 and 2009/10, such as more particularly described in the draft agreement. EC2009-93 PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND LANDS PROTECTION ACT PETITION TO ACQUIRE A LAND HOLDING JEFFREY GRAHAM AND ING-MARI GRAHAM (APPROVAL) Pursuant to section 4 and section 9 of the Prince Edward Island Lands Protection Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. L-5 Council granted permission to Jeffrey Graham and Ing-Mari Graham, both of Waddingham, Gainsborough, England to acquire a land holding of approximately seventy-five decimal seven three (75.73) acres of land in Lot 31, Queens County, Province of Prince Edward Island, being acquired from Earl Watts of Springvale, Prince Edward Island PROVIDED THAT the said real property is identified for non-development use pursuant to the Land Identification Regulations (EC606/95) made under the said Act. EC2009-94 PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND LANDS PROTECTION ACT PETITION TO ACQUIRE A LAND HOLDING BRIAN JAMES (APPROVAL) Pursuant to section 4 of the Prince Edward Island Lands Protection Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. L-5 Council granted permission to Brian James of Middle Sackville, Nova Scotia to acquire an interest in a land holding of approximately three decimal three (3.3) acres of land in Lot 23, Queens County, Province of Prince Edward Island, being acquired from Glasgow-on-Clyde Estates Inc. of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. 45 EXECUTIVE COUNCIL ___________________________ 24 FEBRUARY 2009 EC2009-95 PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND LANDS PROTECTION ACT PETITION TO ACQUIRE A LAND HOLDING LARRY SWEENEY AND JEAN LAWRENCE-SWEENEY (DENIAL) Council, having under consideration an application (#N4829) for acquisition of a land holding under authority of section 4 of the Prince Edward Island Lands Protection Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap L-5, denied permission to Larry Sweeney and Jean Lawrence-Sweeney, both of Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec to acquire a land holding of approximately one decimal nine (1.9) acres of land in Lot 10, Prince County, currently owned by Joseph Duffus of Saugerties, New York. EC2009-96 PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND LANDS PROTECTION ACT PETITION TO ACQUIRE A LAND HOLDING 101144 P.E.I. INC. (APPROVAL) Pursuant to section 5 of the Prince Edward Island Lands Protection Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. L-5 Council granted permission to 101144 P.E.I. Inc. of Flat River, Prince Edward Island to acquire a land holding of approximately eighteen decimal five (18.5) acres of land in Lot 48, Queens County, Province of Prince Edward Island, being acquired from Earl Beaton and Edith Beaton, both of Stratford, Prince Edward Island. EC2009-97 PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND LANDS PROTECTION ACT PETITION TO ACQUIRE A LAND HOLDING HATTON FARMS INC. (APPROVAL) Pursuant to section 5 and section 9 of the Prince Edward Island Lands Protection Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. L-5 Council granted permission to Hatton Farms Inc. of Midgell, Prince Edward Island to acquire a land holding of approximately five (5) acres of land in Lot 40, Kings County, Province of Prince Edward Island, being acquired from Cletus L. (APPROVAL) Pursuant to section 5 of the Prince Edward Island Lands Protection Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. L-5 Council granted permission to Island Holdings Ltd. of Saint John, New Brunswick to acquire, by lease, an interest in a land holding of approximately twenty-six (26) acres of land in Lot 20, Queens County, Province of Prince Edward Island, being acquired from Carolyn Harding-Tessier and Steven Harding-Tessier, both of Kensington, Prince Edward Island. EC2009-99 PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND LANDS PROTECTION ACT PETITION TO ACQUIRE A LAND HOLDING ISLAND HOLDINGS LTD. (APPROVAL) Pursuant to section 5 of the Prince Edward Island Lands Protection Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. L-5 Council granted permission to Island Holdings Ltd. of Saint John, New Brunswick to acquire, by lease, an interest in a land holding of approximately twenty-three (23) acres of land in Lot 20, Queens County, Province of Prince Edward Island, being acquired from Emmett Fitzsimmons and Shirley Fitzsimmons, both of Kensington, Prince Edward Island. L-5 Council granted permission to Island Holdings Ltd. of Saint John, New Brunswick to acquire, by lease, an interest in a land holding of approximately one hundred and sixty-five (165) acres of land in Lots 21, and 23, Queens County, Province of Prince Edward Island, being acquired from David Smith and Shirley Smith, both of Hunter River, Prince Edward Island.
