BON APPÉTIT PRESENTS CHICAGO GOURMET ANNOUNCES TICKET SALES FOR HAMBURGER HOP AND LATE NIGHT GOURMET AUGUST 6 AT 10:00AM

Ready, set…fire!

WHAT: Bon Appétit presents Chicago Gourmet invites guests to a late summer celebration showcasing the city’s most popular burger competition and late night fête – the Hamburger Hop and the official after party, Late Night Gourmet – on Friday, September 25.

*Tickets for both events go on sale Thursday, August 6 at 10 a.m. CST at chicagogourmet.org.

HAMBURGER HOP The competition will be fierce and the skyline aglow as juicy hamburgers are cooked to perfection at the annual rooftop party. Attendees will enjoy tantalizing creations made with Buckhead Beef by 15 top Chicago chefs, sip on brews by Lagunitas Brewing Company and rub elbows with Bon Appétit 's Adam Rapoport and Andrew Knowlton, the evening’s hosts. They will also meet celebrity judges like 93XRT’s Lin Brehmer, Mike Gebert of the Chicago Sun-Times and Spike Mendelsohn from Good Stuff Eatery (2014 Judge's Choice Winner). Together, the judges will name the Buckhead Beef Hamburger Hop Champion. Guests will also have a say in determining a second winner by sampling the same mouth-watering burgers and casting their vote to determine the People’s Choice victor.

LATE NIGHT GOURMET Late Night Gourmet, the official after-party of the Hamburger Hop, will be held at world- famous celebrity lair, The Underground.

Sponsored by CS magazine, Belvedere Vodka, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Milestone Wines, Moet + Chandon Champagne and The Underground, the event promises conviviality into the wee hours with late-night bites, divine libations and energizing music from DJ Rock City. Guests with this highly sought after ticket will mix and mingle with more than 500 of Chicago’s tastemakers and influencers, including Chicago Gourmet chefs, sommeliers and mixologists.

ABOUT LAGUNITAS BREWING COMPANY From points distant and beyond, we all converged on Petaluma in 1993 and '94 with an un- enunciated desire to be more than we were before. The core of Lagunitas came from Chicago, St Louis, Memphis, Walker Creek and the highlands of Quincy.
