Past & Present Projects PAST & PRESENT PROJECTS HOTELS & CASINOS Osage Casino City - Tulsa, Oklahoma Project Owner - Osage Nation Project Architect - Marnell Architecture The Osage Nation tribe has just completed a ground-up construction project; Osage Casino which including 80K square feet of casino, 20K square feet of meeting and convention space, 140 room hotel, pool, and 2K seat event center. D3, Inc. had the opportunity to be brought in to educate ownership of a centralized IP distribution audio video system which incorporated the various requirements previously denied at their six other properties that limited production and added additional operational expenses. D3, Inc. provided a centralized control system design that allows complete automation of the design systems allowing management to focus on more important responsibilities, their clients. Project Dates - 2016-2018 Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino – Arrival / Reception Video Wall City - Niagara Falls, New York Project Owner – Seneca Nation Project Architect - Marnell Architecture 70’ wide by 5’ high curved panel Resolution – 7,680 x 720 / 8K 5,529,600 total pixel count Project Date - 2018 Park MGM & NoMad City - Las Vegas, Nevada Project Owner - MGM Resorts International Project Architects - Marnell Architecture, RAFI Architecture, Novus Architecture, Stonehill Taylor Architects, BunnyFish Studios and Avarrus Studios After 22 years in operation, MGM Resort's Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino has undergone a rebranding as well as a complete renovation of the property. The transformation took on the name of Park MGM Hotel and Casino which included a Hotel within a Hotel concept which carries the name NoMad occupying the top 4 levels of the main tower. D3, Inc. was hired to centralize the technology systems spread out across 50K square feet of upgraded meeting space and ballrooms, 4 pools, 80K square feet of the casino floor and multiple venues. Utilizing D3, Inc.'s leading edge IP technology approach each venue was able to be brought online at various intervals keeping up with the demands of rebranding and remodeling this world-class property while in operation. We worked closely and carefully listened to the engineering consultants and ownership stakeholders to produce a complete set of construction documents required to effectively install the audio video system for a casino property spanning across a multiple building campus. Project Date - 2017 Tru by Hilton City - Las Vegas, Nevada Project Owner - Hilton Project Architect – Marnell Architecture D3, Inc. was hired for a fast-track project to design an audio-video system for the common areas of the Tru Hotel while maintaining a cost-effective solution without comprising quality of product and operational management. Project Date - 2016 Nugget Casino Resort Convention Remodel City - Sparks, Nevada Project Owner – Marnell Gaming Project Architect - Marnell Architecture The project consisted of a complete casino remodel, 200k square feet of convention space and the conversion of an existing food and beverage venue into a world-class sports bar and grill. Labor contracts for most Las Vegas casino resorts, including all but one of the Caesars properties, expire at the end of May. Last week, 25,000 union members voted to authorize a strike by a 99% margin. Main outstanding issues in CZR negotiations include technology, housekeeping workload study, union security in case of change of ownership, and wages and benefits. The difference between the two sides’ economic proposals is approximately $7.4 million in the first year and $8.9 million in the fifth year. A one-month strike could reduce CZR’s EBITDAR by nearly $120 million. Negotiations are scheduled for May 29 and May 30 Labor contracts for most Las Vegas casino resorts expire at the end of May. Collective bargaining agreements between UNITE HERE’s Culinary Local 226 and Bartenders Local 165 (“the Union”) and most of the casino resorts on the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown Las Vegas are set to expire at the end of this month. All Caesars properties except the Rio have contracts expiring at the end of the month. (See the end of this note for a list of properties at risk.) Caesars has a significant presence in Las Vegas with a 63% EBITDA exposure. Negotiations for a new 5-year deal covering all CZR properties’ approximately 12,000 workers started in March, but major differences remain between the unions and the company.
