The parentals, Pam and Steven, often tagged their adventures without their daughter Gillian with the hashtag #beerwithoutgillian while Gillian was off getting her masters degree. Our world needs constant reminders of what it is like to be innocent. Children are our clean slate upon which we can conquer disease, bigotry, and evil. The composition of this tune was my emotional response to the murder of 27 people, 20 of whom were children, in Newtown, Connecticut on December 14th, 2012. Patrick McLaurin
