The Tangier Shrine Center Legion of Honor Unit is taking orders for the purchase of an American Flag to honor an individual who is/was a member of the Armed Forces or a Citizen Patriot. The individual does not have to be a member of the Shrine or the Legion of Honor. These flags will be displayed on the lawn of the Shrine Center where the Statue is, and will be displayed on the following dates. November 8-13, 2017 for Veteran’s Day May 24-28, 2018 for Memorial Day November 7-12, 2018 for Veteran’s Day May 23-27, 2019 for Memorial Day

The flag will have the name of the individual, the branch of service, and the highest rank earned attached to the flag in a color representing their service branch. White will be used for Citizen Patriots who have not served in the military. If the individual is deceased black will also be used. You may purchase as many flags as desired. The purchase price for each flag is $10.00 for the two years. We will gladly renew them as often as desired for the price of the flags at the time of renewal.
