Memo No. 548 / BMD Dated, the 07.08.2015 Notice Inviting Quotation No: NIQ – 1 of 2015 – 2016. Sealed Quotations in WBF 2911(ii) with superscription of the Name of work are invited by the Executive Engineer, Bankura Mechanical Division, P.H.E. Dte. on behalf of the Governor of West Bengal for the work noted below from the Bonafide, experienced and working contractors under P.H.E. Dte. (Electrical / Mechanical) having execution experience of similar type of Mechanical / Electrical works within last 5 (five) years. Time of Description of Works Completion Operation guarding of pumping machineries in different water supply schemes under Bankura 274 days from Mechanical Division P.H.E.Dte. 01.09.15 to As per enclosed list 31.05.16 The intending Tenderers will have to produce the following information / data / credential / certificates etc. to the undersigned along with the prayer for obtaining permission to participate in the tender. 1. Copy of PAN Card. 2. Copy of VAT Registration certificate with validity. 3. Copy of Professional Tax clearance with validity. 4. Copy of the Electrical Contractor’s License with validity and suitable parts. 5. Copy of the Electrical Supervisor’s certificate with qualification, relevant parts thereof, registration no. letter of engagement by the contractor in case of engaged supervisor including proof of engagement etc. 6. Cess @ 1 % of the value of the work for constructional Labour welfare fund will be deducted from the work bill as per Govt. rules & order when applicable. 7. Successful quotationers will have to execute a deed of Contract in WBF no 2911(ii) and deposit an amount @ 2% of the accepted amount in form of Bank draft drawn from a bank authorized by RBI in favor of the “Executive Engineer. Bankura Mechanical Division. P. H. E. Dte.” payable at Bankura. 8. The documents mentioned above will be examined in order to asses the eligibility of the applicant to participate in the Tender. On being satisfied about eligibility, necessary permission will be granted. 9. Application / Issuance / submission of Tender documents through Post / Courier / FAX / Internet will not be entertained by the Tender Inviting Authority in any case. Tender documents may be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer, Bankura Mechanical Division, P.H.E. Dte., Bankura, on production of permission of the undersigned and payment of usual amount as decided by the department. The undersigned, however reserves the right to postpone. / extend the date of issuing permission in unavoidable circumstances. The undersigned also reserves the right not to show any reason whatever to any tenderer for not entertaining application seeking permission to participate in the Tender. Last date of receiving application for permission : 20-8-2015 (Upto 2.00 P.M.) Last date of issuing permission & Selling : 21-8-2015 (Upto 2.30 P.M.) Each page of the tender document and all corrections must be signed by the tenderer and bear company seal. Representative of the tenderer, who will sign on behalf of their company, should produce the document in support of his authority signing the tender on behalf of their company. If it is revealed that performance of any Quotationers in any ongoing work of similar type under PHE Dte. Govt. of W.B. is not satisfactory, tender paper shall not be issued even if the intending tenderer meets all other stipulations as mentioned above. The acceptance of the tender will rest with the accepting authority who does not bind himself to accept the lowest offer or all Quotations received and to split up the work without assigning any reasons thereof.
