Board Elections We will hold the Club's annual election for its Executive Officers and five Director Positions at our Tuesday, December 3 Luncheon. Candidates and their bios will be sent to all members via Email prior to the Election. Our Current Board Members 2019 2020 Luncheon Prices Rise Slightly With the booming economy comes higher wages and higher food costs. Cili's Restaurant's prices have rocketed up but they continue to serve us excellent, quality meals within a reasonable price. Starting with our January Luncheon, the membership price for pre-purchased tickets will be $40 and non-member tickets will be $45. Walk-in prices will be an additional $5 so please be sure to pre-purchase your tickets or RSVP if you intend to pay by cash or check as a member. November 2019 - Page 2 Veterans Treatment Courts Need Your Help! The holidays are fast approaching! For the past 6 years, the Nevada Republican Club has hosted holiday parties to encourage veterans to graduate or successfully complete their programs with the Veterans Treatment Courts. Last year, we had the honor of helping veterans at two VTC SHOWprograms STOPPER (one in Henderson and one in Las Vegas Justice Court). With your generous donation, we will have three holiday court parties complete with Santa and gifts. Our holiday parties will take place on December 18 & 19. Our contributions send a positive and encouraging message to our veterans and their families. W November 2019 - Page 3 Featured Candidates Dan Rodimer For Congress District 3 Dan earned a law degree at Ave Maria School of Law in south Florida and graduated in 2013. Rodimer believes in bettering his community by putting others first. He devotes his time to local nonprofits that serve the Las Vegas area. With the Presidential Election looming in 2020, we need you to learn about issues, meet Republican candidates and let us know what policies and issues are important to you! For $25, your membership dollars help us keep our members informed on current events and issues. We offer a format and venue to meet civic leaders, elected officials & candidates and discuss issues.
