PhDr. Marek Sedláček, Ph.D. Brno 2019 Anotace Název práce: Vývoj nejposlouchanějších skladeb na serveru YouTube.com mezi roky 2014 a 2018 Title: Evolution of the most listened compositions on YouTube.com between 2014 and 2018 Cílem této práce je analyzovat devatenáct nejposlouchanějších skladeb na serveru YouTube.com, které byly uploadovány mezi daty 1. 7. 2016 a 1. 7. 2018. Výsledky této analýzy jsou následně porovnány s výstupy podobné analýzy, která vznikla v rámci autorovy bakalářské práce a zabývala se nejposlouchanějšími skladbami na témž serveru mezi lety 2014 a 2016. U vybraných skladeb je zkoumán jejich hudební charakter, práce se ovšem zabývá také jejich interprety a žánry. V závěru práce je ukázáno, jakým způsobem se tyto znaky během zmiňovaného období měnily. Vedlejším tématem práce je také nedávná historie serveru YouTube.com. The goal of this thesis is to analyze nineteen of the most listened compositions on YouTube.com, which were uploaded between 1. 7. 2016 and 1. 7. 2018. The outcomes of the analysis are then compared with the results of similar analysis, which was developed in the author´s bachelor thesis and was focused on the most listened compositions on the same server between 2014 and 2016. The thesis examines musical character of the chosen compositions, but it is also focused on their interprets and genres. The final part of the thesis shows the changes between these aspects during the mentioned time period. The marginal topic of the thesis is the recent history of YouTube.com. Ta se pokoušela popsat devatenáct skladeb s nejvíce zhlédnutími na serveru YouTube.com, které byly uploadovány mezi daty 1. 1. 2014 a 1. 7. 2016. Analyzovány zde byly zejména hudební parametry skladeb (délka, tempo, harmonie, struktura, žánr, melodie a další charakteristiky), práce se ovšem pokoušela popsat i život a kariéru interpretů jednotlivých skladeb, a rovněž také historii a typické znaky žánrů daných písní. Z bakalářské práce vyplynulo, že interpreti nejposlouchanějších skladeb na YouTube tyto písně zveřejnili nejčastěji ve věku dvacet pět až třicet let. V té době již měli za sebou průměrně dvě až tři vydaná alba. Samotné skladby trvaly většinou mezi třemi až čtyřmi minutami, byly často ovlivněny několika různými žánry a obsahovaly nejčastěji jeden či dva různé harmonické postupy. Jejich tempo se pohybovalo okolo sta úderů za minutu a skládaly se často ze tří až ze čtyř různých dílů (sloka, refrén, bridge, …), celkově pak byly rozděleny průměrně na devět dílů. V seznamu skladeb se neobjevil jednoznačně převažující žánr, nejfrekventovanějším stylem byl hip hop a příbuzné žánry, které ovlivnily celkem pět skladeb ze seznamu. Naproti tomu většina ostatních zkoumaných parametrů, které jsme zde zmínili, se u značné části skladeb příliš neodlišovala. Také v této diplomové práci bude na základě počtu zhlédnutí na serveru YouTube.com vymezen podobný seznam devatenácti skladeb, tentokrát s datem uploadu mezi daty 1. 7. 2016 a 1. 7. 2018. Autor se u nich pokusí prozkoumat stejné parametry, jaké byly předmětem jeho zájmu ve zmiňované bakalářské práci – délku, tempo, harmonii, strukturu, žánr, melodii a další hudební charakteristiky. Zaměří se rovněž na interprety skladeb a jejich kariéry a také na žánry, do kterých se písně dají zařadit. Práce bude obsahovat také teoretický úvod zabývající se zejména aktuálním vývojem, problémy a změnami na serveru YouTube.com. Závěrem bude možné porovnat zkoumané charakteristiky u skladeb z obou seznamů, a následně určit, jakým směrem se vyvíjí vkus návštěvníků serveru YouTube.com. Jelikož tento server navštěvují stovky

The majority of these studies have focused on the interaction between a local language and a non-local language. In this project, I propose an analysis of the mixture of two world languages (Spanish and English), which can be categorised as both local and non-local. I do this through the analysis of the enormously successful reggaeton genre, which is characterised by its use of Spanglish. I used two data types to inform my research: a corpus of code-switching instances in top 20 reggaeton songs, and a questionnaire on attitudes towards Spanglish in general and in music. I collected 200 answers to the questionnaire – half from American English-speakers, and the other half from Spanish-speaking Hispanics of various nationalities.
