Hkrati z novimi znamkami in Planica 2010 6 celinami vas v njej seznanjamo tudi z vašo voljo, voljo tistih, ki so se odločili Planica 2010 glasovati za najlepšo slovensko znamko preteklega leta. Daleč največ Planica 2010 glasov ste prisodili bloku z dvema znamkama, ki je na poseben način zaznamoval zaskrbljenost nad ogrožanjem ledenikov in polarnih območij. Nageljčki 8 Blok je oblikoval Matjaž Učakar, natisnili pa so ga v ofsetni tehniki v tiskarni Carnations Oriental Press v Bahrajnu. Znamke na to temo je izdalo Nelken 42 poštnih organizacij. Potonika 12 Samo polovico toliko glasov je dobila znamka z motivom Bohinjskega jezera, Peony ki jo je po sliki Antona Karingerja oblikovala Tjaša Štempihar. Znamko so v Pfingstrose polah po 16 kosov ravno tako v ofsetni tehniki natisnili v Poštovni tiskarni cenin v Pragi. Ob tem je zanimiv podatek, da je ista Karingerjeva slika Naročilnica 14 služila kot motiv za znamko, ki je izšla leta 1968 v takratni Jugoslaviji. Znamko so natisnili v tehniki linijskega globokega tiska v Avstrijski državni Order Form tiskarni in je bila razglašena za najlepšo znamko tistega leta v Evropi. Bestellschein Tretje mesto ste prisodili božični znamki, katere avtorica je uveljavljena Legenda in pogoji naročila 20 ilustratorka Jelka Reichman. Pole s 50 znamkami so natisnili v Pragi, Terms and Condition of Sale znamke v zvežčkih pa v Bahrajnu. Vsem, ki so prispevali k nastanku teh Zahlungs- und Lieferbedingungen znamk, iskreno čestitamo. Osebne znamke 21 Vsem ljubiteljicam in ljubiteljem znamk, ki ste se potrudili in nam sporočili svojo odločitev, se zahvaljujemo.     Lesson number five : Snow sports 1- Ski flying : is a winter sport discipline derived from ski jumping, in which much greater distances can be achieved. It is a form of competitive individual Nordic skiing where athletes descend at very fast speeds along a specially designed takeoff ramp using skis only; jump from the end of it with as much power as they can generate; then glide – or 'fly' – as far as possible down a steeply sloped hill; and ultimately land within a target zone in a stable manner. Points are awarded for distance and stylistic merit by five judges, and events are governed by the International Ski Federation (Fédération Internationale de Ski; FIS). 2- Snowshoe running : or snowshoeing, is a winter sport practiced with snowshoes, which is governed by World Snowshoe Federation (WSSF) founded in 2010, which until 2015 had its name International Snowshoe Federation (ISSF). The snowshoes running is part of the Special Olympics and Arctic Winter Games programs. 5- Skiboarding is a type of freestyle skiing using short, usually double-tipped skis, regular ski boots and bindings, and no poles.     Kevin Bickner Hometown: Wauconda IL (Norge Ski Club) Birthdate: September 23, 1996 Longest jump: 244.5m, Vikersund Norway, March, 2017 Kevin Bickner started jumping at the Norge Ski Club in Fox River Grove IL when he was nine years old and competed throughout the Central Division. As a member of five Junior National Teams, he was the silver medalist two years running before taking the championship titles in 2012 and 2013. Kevin was a member of three World Junior teams and finished an impressive 11th place in 2016. At age 16, Kevin was named to the USA Development Team and moved to Park City UT to train with the National Team. Kevin’s success on the FIS cup circuit quickly led to opportunities on the Continental Cup Tour. After establishing himself on the international COC circuit, and being named to the National Team, Kevin earned his chance to represent the USA in the Summer Grand Prix and then the World Cup where, as one of the youngest competitors, he scored his first points. In 2016, Kevin qualified for the opportunity to try his hand at Ski Flying on the HS 225 Ski Flying hill in Vikersund Norway. It was during this first ski flying experience that he flew a personal best 214.5m (2nd furthest in US history after Alan Alborn) and finished with his first World Cup score. One year later, in March of 2017, he smashed the US distance record by soaring 244.5m in Vikersund, Norway. Kevin currently attends DeVry University and splits his time training with the National Team in Park City and the National Team training facility in Slovenia.

This sport demands high power and is expected to fly down the steeply sloped hill. This form of skiing is similar to Nordic skiing, but without Poles. There are three official disciplines of this sport and they are − Speed (Constant in-run) Balance, with perfect take-off. Flight, maintaining till landing. There are all around 25-30 competitions organised throughout the year. An athlete have to make a proper run-in while maintaining his balance during a take-off, which will make his flight higher till the landing. A Brief History of Ski Jumping To find the origins of ski jumping, we have to go back directly to November 1809, where Danish-Norwegian lieutenant Olaf Rye launched himself 9.5 metres into the air as a show of courage to his fellow comrades at Eidsberg church in Eidsberg. However, in recent years, Finland’s ski jumpers have achieved disappointing results in the World Cup, and suffered from injuries and retirements. Many young and talented jumpers prematurely ended their careers 5 to 10 years ago, as they did not have the opportunity to reach the national team which was very competi- tive. Now Finland is lacking talent at the top level, and not enough young jumpers are trained. This thesis examines the current situation with regard to ski jumping in Finland in order to provide solutions for preventing the decline in the number of jumpers and attracting more children to try the sport. The purpose of this thesis is to identify realistic solutions to imple- ment rapidly and at the lowest possible cost. Raising the interest of young children is a priori- ty but it is also important to keep the motivation high for jumpers between 14 and 20 years old. The other objective of this paper is to provide solutions for increasing the number of spectators during national and regional competitions.
