SUNDAY 8 MAY 2016 | 03 CAMPUS Gulf English School organises Fitness at The Farm for third consecutive year he Gulf English School (GES) recently organised ‘Fitness at The Farm’, whereby pupils visit Sheikh Faisal’s Farm for a full day of sport, fitness and enrichment activities. This year’s event included: 1km, 3km and 5km Trun; Ultimate Frisbee, football, volleyball, basketball, horse riding, ‘Paint the Pony’, taekwondo, Boxercise, Zumbatomics, Aspire MSSD training, rounders, media trail and a visit to Sheikh Faisal’s museum. Being held for three consecutive years now, this event is a chance for stu- dents to find new ways to be active while enjoying the scenery, enriching their academic experience, challenging themselves physically and socialising with their peers in a safe and healthy environment. “We extend our thanks to Sheikh Faisal and Sheikha Maha for making this event possible; it truly does provide our pupils with a beneficial and memora- ble experience,” said Rebecca Cruickshank, PE Faculty Coordinator for GES Pri- mary and Secondary Schools. “All in all, we had three days of red cheeks, sweaty brows and smiling faces.
