QMF welcomes leading international and national artists alongside local talent in a robust program of concerts, performances and innovative musical experiences. We will see communities in Logan, Mount Isa, Townsville and Brisbane creating and presenting new works that weave together the stories of our state. The brand-new Mount Isa Symphony Orchestra will perform a world-first work of music that has been specially commissioned for the festival.
