He also enjoyed cocktails with friends at the classic Algonquin Hotel Bar, 59 West 44th Street. Lu and Margit von Mises enjoyed dining at The Plaza, 768 5th Avenue joined by Henry and Frances Hazlitt, and Larry and Berthy Fertig. Mrs. Mises especially enjoyed The Russian Tea Room, 150 West 57th Street, where, in 1982, Lew Rockwell asked her blessing on the establishment of the Mises Institute.
