MEETING MINUTES
Executive Committee of The Ethylene Oxide Sterilization Association, Inc.
July 6, 2010

Representatives of the Executive Committee of The Ethylene Oxide Sterilization Association, Inc. (EOSA) participated in a conference call on July 6, 2010. Members participating in the call included:
Kathleen Roberts, Bergeson & Campbell, P.C. Fenil Sutaria, Medline Industries Randy Viscomi, ARC Specialty
1.0 Administrative Issues -- Roberts provided the antitrust reminder.
2.0 EH&S Committee Activities
2.1 Ethylene Oxide (EO) Media Testing Update -- Roberts reported that media samples from Advanced Air Technologies and Chem DAQ have been shipped by Assay Technologies for testing. She has discussed the testing program with Joe Rossin of Guild Associates but it is not clear whether Guild will participate or not.
2.2 Battery Device Guidelines -- Sutaria and Roberts have prepared a draft version of the battery guidelines that they will share with Kathleen Hoffman for input. The draft will then be shared with the EH&S Committee. It is anticipated that a final document could be available by the November 2010 general membership meeting.
3.0 EOSA Talking Points on Chemical Ban/EO Proposals -- At the May 2010 EH&S Committee meeting, members provided final input on the EOSA talking points. Roberts will include the final draft document with the next set of meeting materials.
4.0 Preparations for November 2010 Membership Meeting -- The group considered potential agenda topics and/or guest speakers. Ideas included:
EO safety review;
Overview of process hazard analysis for companies engaged in Process Safety Management (PSM);

Flammability cycle; and
Speaker from Ethylene Oxide Industry Council (EOIC).
There being no other business to discuss, the call adjourned at 11:30 a.m. (EDT).
