A RESOLUTION Adjourning the Senate in Loving Memory and Honor of James A. Wulfeck Sr

A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in loving memory and honor of James A. Wulfeck Sr. With deepest respect and admiration, we pay homage and tribute to James A. Wulfeck Sr., and we pause in silent reverence for his soul. WHEREAS, James A. Wulfeck Sr. was born on August 10, 1922, a native of Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky, and he traversed these earthly bounds on January 10, 2004; and WHEREAS, James A. Wulfeck Sr. was the loving son of the late Andrew J. and Carrie Lux Wulfeck; he was the devoted husband of Della Testerman Wulfeck; he was the loving father of four sons, James A. Wulfeck Jr. of Independence, Richard Wulfeck of Fort Mitchell, and Gary Wulfeck and Kenneth Wulfeck, both of Edgewood, and he was the proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and he also leaves behind three loving brothers, William Wulfeck of Edgewood, Thomas Wulfeck of Fort Mitchell, and Norbert Wulfeck of Lakeside Park; and three loving sisters, Thelma Wulfeck of Fort Mitchell, and Virginia Mann and Carol Ruwe, both of Fort Wright; and WHEREAS, James A. Wulfeck Sr. was an esteemed member of the Northern Kentucky community, where he was a devout member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Edgewood, where his Mass of Christian burial was held on January 14, 2004; and WHEREAS, James A. Wulfeck Sr. was employed by the Army Corps of Engineers and the Fay & Egan Woodworking Company before becoming an entrepreneur in 1970 when he began Jet Machine and Manufacturing; and he continued his entrepreneurial endeavors by founding Rocket Supply in 1976; he taught his four sons to follow in his footsteps, three of them working in leadership roles at his companies, while his oldest son started a successful consulting business in the health-care industry; in 1990, Jet Machine and Manufacturing and Rocket Supply were merged under the name of Wulco, Inc.; and he retired as chief executive officer of Wulco, Inc., in 1992; and WHEREAS, James A. Wulfeck Sr. was a member of the Honorable Order of

Kentucky Colonels, longtime member of the Elks, an active supporter of The Point, and a frequent supporter of many charities, and his church; and WHEREAS, the passing of James A. Wulfeck Sr. has left a void that cannot be filled, and he is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. The Senate does hereby express its profound sense of sorrow upon the passing of James A. Wulfeck Sr., and extends to his family and many friends its most heartfelt sympathy. Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of James A. Wulfeck Sr. Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Mrs. James A. Wulfeck Sr., 884 Windsor Green Drive, Villa Hills, Kentucky 41017.
