PROJECT #1 – DESIGNING A MATH LOGO

Project Description: The goal of this project is to have you create a math logo that can be used to identify your math class. You will learn that various images from chapter 1 can be used to design your logo. When designing your logo, you should choose various shapes, patterns, symbols, numbers or terms and describe the reasons why each of these elements is part of the logo.

Completing the Unit Project: Now, you are ready to make your math logo. Your group can work together to make one cover to display or you can all make individual versions of your group logo. 1. On the back, you need to explain what the patterns, symbols, numbers, and shapes in your logo represent. Tell why you think your design identifies math class the best. Do not use a symbol that you cannot explain.
