THE DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. OBSERVANCE DAY PROGRAM COMMITTEE IS LOOKING TO MAKE YOUR DREAM COME TRUE
OPELIKA, AL (December 23, 2008) - On Monday, January 19, 2009 the City of Opelika and The Dream Day Foundation will present the 2009 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Observance Day Program for Lee County. The program will begin at 11:00a.m. It will be held at the Opelika Performing Arts Center.
“This year’s program will be special in many ways,” states Marion Sankey, the event coordinator. “It is the 10th anniversary for this Observance Day program; and it will be followed by the historic inauguration of our first African American President, Barack Obama.”
This year is also special because the Dream Foundation Day committee is looking to make your dream come true. You can help by telling us why your dream or the dream of someone you know should come true.
