DISABILITY AWARENESS/SENSITIVITY TRAINING FOR 3RD GRADE – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED The PEC (Parents of Exceptional Children) is sponsoring Sensitivity Training for all 3rd grade classes in our district again this year. The training focuses on how to be a friend with someone who looks or learns differently than you. During the workshop, there are stations where the children "experience" a disability - including physical disabilities, dyslexia, and vision and fine motor skill deficiencies. We are looking for parent volunteers to help direct the children at these workshop stations. The workshop dates for Cedar Hill are November 16th & 17th . The times and classroom assignments are listed below. Please click on the link to sign up via: http://signup.com/go/zpUbsh Note: Sign Up does not share your email address with anyone. If you prefer not to use your email address, please contact Jeanette Jaworski [email protected] or Joyanne Trivigno [email protected] and they will sign you up manually.
