Day One: The Woman, The Dragon, and The Beasts 1. Read Revelation 12:1–13:18. The first character John sees in this “great sign” is a ______, clothed with the ______, and the ______under her ______, and on her ______a ______of twelve ______. 7. The number of the beast is _____ (see Revelation 13:18). Day Two: The Harvest and the Voices of Victory 1. Read Revelation 14:1–15:8. John sees ______standing on Mount Zion. With Him are ______redeemed people with His Father’s name on their ______. 2. In your own words (or John’s) list the chief characteristics of the 144,000 redeemed (see Revelation 14:4–5).

Challenge: Where in Revelation were the 144,000 first mentioned? 3. Do you “follow the Lamb wherever He goes”? What would it mean for you to do this? (For help, see Matthew 16:24).

4. The second “beatitude” or blessing in Revelation is found in 14:13. Who is blessed? According to Revelation 14:12, how had they lived?

5. List at least three important truths about God that are affirmed in the song of praise in Revelation 15:3–4.

Day Three: The Seven Bowls of God’s Wrath 1. Read Revelation 16:1-21. Each of the bowls, when poured out, creates a condition on earth. Describe briefly what happens on earth and the reaction of mankind (if one is listed). a. First bowl (16:2) b. Second bowl (16:3) c. Third bowl ( 16:4) d. Fourth bowl (16:8–9) e. Fifth bowl (16:10–11) f. Sixth bowl (16:12) g. Seventh bowl (16:17–21) Day Four: The Harlot and Babylon 1. Read Revelation 17:1–18. What words come to your mind to describe this chapter and time in history?

2. In every age of church history there have been “harlots” or false religious systems that have abandoned truth and prostituted themselves for personal gain. Can you name one from our age?

3. What can we learn about the woman or harlot in the following verses? a. Her appearance (17:3–5) b. Her character (17:2, 5–6) c. Her identity (17:5, 18) 4. In Revelation 17:8 the beast “dies” and is “resurrected.” Who do you think is he trying to imitate, and how, and why?

5. From 17:14, those fighting with the Lamb are described as ______, ______, and ______. Can those words apply to you? How? 6. In Revelation 17:17 we see who is really in control. Whose purpose is being fulfilled? Why is He allowing these events?

7. What can we learn about God and the Lamb from the angel’s words in Revelation 17:14 and 17?

Day Five: Desolation and Destruction 1. Read Revelation 18:1–24. What are the two major causes for Babylon’s final destruction in 18:2–3?

2. Describe how the kings, merchants, and seamen respond to Babylon’s fall, and why? a. Kings (18:9–10) b. Merchants (18:11, 15–17) c. Seamen (18:17–19) 3. In contrast, what does Revelation 18:20 tell us about how God’s people should respond, and why?

4. What one insight or truth about God would you like to take to heart and apply from this difficult, but hopeful look into God’s plan for the future?

5. Write out your prayer of thanks and praise to God for permitting you to see the power and evil of His enemies and then assuring you of His ultimate victory.
