Sanders has been an icon for Private and Corporate functions since 1994.

The restaurant is located on the d’Albora Marina in Cabarita (approx 10km from the CBD or Parramatta) on Sydney Harbour. We are a casual fine dining waterfront restaurant offering a fresh modern Australian cuisines, for the discerning taste buds of our loyal customers.

Sanders sits on top of the water, offering its patrons an unobstructed 270 degree view up and down Sydney Harbour and in Oct 07 we underwent a major renovation ensuring that the experience of dining at Sanders just went to the next level.

Capacity at Sanders is around 100 seated customers or around 150 if you would like just a cocktail party.

Function Packages – Cocktail Party

(Up to 150 standing guests)

Waterfront locations lend themselves to the casual nature of a cocktail party.

Our “Exclusive” cocktail package lends itself beautifully for functions requiring exclusive use of our restaurant, however a more informal approach to the event is desired.

Prior to the event our team of function specialists will sit down and tailor a diverse range of finger food and canapés from our award winning functions menu for you and your guests to enjoy.

Throughout the function your guests can enjoy the culinary delights our chefs have created whilst mingling around soaking up the unique atmosphere of Sanders. Sanders Exclusive Cocktail Function: from $30 per guest

Includes  Choice of six canapés (4 of each canapé per person = 24 canapés per guest)

You may choose any of the canapés from the selection below. If you would like multiple servings of the same canapé we would be happy to oblige.

If any of your guests have special dietary requirements we are more than happy to tailor a meal dedicated to their needs. To enable this to happen we need at least 48 hours notice.

Beverage Packages:

Our basic package includes; Drinks can be on consumption (pay as you go)* or you can purchase a fixed drinks package for $35 for up to 4 hours.

Everyone’s palate is different and as a result the management at Sanders now allows BYO (wine only) for function bookings. As a result you can purchase drinks on consumption and enjoy the culinary delights of our chefs over your favourite red or white.

The Sanders Function beverage package includes  Local beers, e.g., VB, Cascade Light, Tooheys Extra Dry  Zilzie “Selection 23” Wines from the Murray Darling area in Victoria. You can choose from their Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Merlot or Shiraz.  Fresh Juice & Icy cold soft drink * If you wish to upgrade to an open bar with basic spirits and premium beers it will be an extra $15 per guest. * If you need to extend the drinks package time it is an extra $10 per hour per guest * $20 minimum spend applies if you choose to go on consumption

Sanders – the land of no extra charge At Sanders Waterfront Restaurant what you see is what you get. There are no hidden charges, trivial add on costs and no you do not have to pay for room hire. We have kept our function package totally worry free as all you need do is sit back and enjoy everything true waterfront dining has to offer.

We also have the policy of “Never say Never” if you want something particular to your function e.g. DJ, Dance Floor, Balloons etc all you need do is ask, as the chances are we will say “YES”. The function is all about you, not us, so please do not hesitate to drop us a line with your request and we will respond accordingly.

Function Menu Options Canapés:

 Goats cheese & roast pumpkin tartlets.  Assorted petite pies (Beef & burgundy, lamb & rosemary, chicken Florentine).  Assorted fresh sushi with wasabi & soy.  Mediterranean vegetable frittata with rocket pesto & black olive tapenade.  Park, garlic & sage hand made sausage rolls with our tomato chutney.  Char grilled chicken skewer with kaffir lime & coconut sauce.  Prawn spring rolls served with sweet chili dipping sauce. Entrée

 Chili, salt & pepper Hawkesbury calamari with green papaya & peanut salad, palm sugar & lime dressing.  Whole boned quail with wild mushroom ragout & kumara chips.  Sechuan dusted soft shell crab with red nam jim & coconut & coriander salad.  Lorenzo’s own chicken liver pate with prune and port jelly, served with toasted sourdough and a watercress and cornichon salad.  Seared medium king prawns, on a crispy wonton stack, layered with flame grilled haloumi & tomato coriander salsa.

 Roasted leg and breast of duck with wilted spinach & maple jus.  Oven roasted grain fed Beef sirloin with white truffled potato mash, onion jam & bone marrow jus.  Crispy skinned salmon on a warm salad of potato, garlic cream, and chives.  Seared swordfish fillet on fennel & celery puree topped with globe artichokes and gremolata.  Roast Pumpkin & Goats cheese tart, with rocket, red apple and walnut salad, and aged balsamic dressing.  Prosciutto wrapped, corn-fed chicken breast on sweet potato mash with red wine jus.

Desserts

 Trio of fresh fruit gelato with citrus segments.  Vanilla bean crème brulee with caramelised fig ice cream and almond biscuits.  Chocolate and toasted coconut layered pannancotta with fresh cherry ice cream  Rosemary scented Bavarois with passion fruit and Lavender ice cream and raspberry coulis. Getting to Sanders  Sanders is located at the end of Cabarita Rd on d’Albora Marina in Cabarita Park, Cabarita. It is centrally located on 13km from the Sydney CBD and 15km from Parramatta and is accessible by car, bus and water.

Parking  Sanders has parking for around 100 -120 vehicles in the council car park directly next to the marina. Water Taxi / Boat Access / Ferry  Sanders Waterfront Restaurant is on the d’Albora Marina and as a result water access is a unique way to arrive at the restaurant. As a value added service we can provide a free berth for your boat while you dine.  You can also catch the River Cat to Cabarita from Parramatta and the City or you can arrive via water Taxi direct to the restaurant. Wheelchair Access.  Sanders is the land of no steps and as a result we welcome everyone to Sanders with our Wheelchair friendly access, direct from the car park to the table. Terms and Methods of Payment  Cash  Visa  MasterCard  American Express (3% surcharge applies)  We will only accept company cheques with prior approval.

 Please note a 15% deposit is required for all functions. The deposit is non refundable if you cancellation within 14 days for Non Exclusive Bookings and 30 days for Exclusive Bookings.  A minimum spend may apply for a function which will be determined at the time of the booking.  Public Holidays and Sunday bookings incur a surcharge of 10%  The deposit amount will be deducted from the total of the bill on the night. Final numbers must be confirmed 48 hours in advance. This is the minimum number of guests for which you will be charged. Please be aware for large groups the maximum on one table is 12 people. Please ensure all your guests are aware of the booking name to avoid seating delays.  Due to the seasonality of the fresh produce we serve, the right to revise menus and prices without notice is reserved

Music options Sanders has a 5 CD disc player which accepts any MP3 player (iPod etc). You are more than welcome to supply your own music or bring your own band to dance the night away. The “Sanders anything goes policy”

Sanders Waterfront Restaurant is located on d’Albora Marina at the very end of Cabarita Rd in the suburb of Cabarita. On our doorstep is the stunning Cabarita Park which you need to drive thru to get to us so as a tip drive thru the park and when you connect with the water you have arrived at Sanders.

The restaurant is centrally located 13 km from the Sydney CBD and 15km from Parramatta and as a result for your guests it is the ideal solution for a day on the water.

Car Sanders is at the end of Cabarita Park and as a result we have parking for over 150 vehicles right on our door step. If you need Wheelchair access, we are proud to say that we have a perfectly flat entry to the restaurant and a Handicapped Toilet on site for guests to use. The Park is open 24 hours a day and is patrolled at night so if you need to leave your vehicle here overnight you can be assured it is in safe hands.

Jet Cat (Sydney Ferry) The main public Jet Cat drops passengers off about 100m from our restaurant. It costs $6.40 for an adult fare from the Sydney CBD to Cabarita and takes about 28 minutes door to door. By Boat Getting to Sanders is quite unique as we are one of the few Waterfront Restaurants in Sydney offering the ability to moor your boat at the Marina whilst you dine at Sanders. Water Taxi If you do not own a boat you may opt for someone else’s as there are many Water Taxi operators servicing the harbour.
