Emergency Preparedness tip of the week: FEMA has a new app. You can receive alerts from National Weather Service, get safety reminders, read tips to survive natural disasters, customize your emergency checklist, locate & get driving directions to open shelters, where to talk to FEMA in person/phone and apply for disaster assistance.

This year's PTSA Reflections theme is "What Is Your Story?" Categories are: Dance, Film, Literature, Music, Photography, Visual Arts and Special Artist. Deadline for entries is Tuesday, November 29. All winning submissions will be displayed at the Council Reflections Reception on January 6, 2017. Students: If you forget an item at home and have it dropped off in the office, stop by during passing or lunch to pick it up. In an effort to limit classroom disruptions, we will NOT be able to deliver the item or send a note to class.

Reminder: For safety/security reasons, we cannot allow visitors on campus during school hours, including lunch. If they have permission to visit, they’ll be given a VISITOR badge after checking in at the office. CLUBS/ACTIVITIES Link Crew Leaders: we will have a mandatory meeting on November 29. Please meet either during resource in the commons or immediately after 6th period at 2pm in Room 763. You must be present at one of the 2 meetings but do not need to attend both. Bothell Performing Arts Department is excited to announce 2017 Spring Musical, Young Frankenstein! Auditions will be December 12, 13 & 14. If you are interested in auditioning, please come to the info meeting in the Black Box Theatre during Resource on November 29. We will be going over the audition process and requirements. We need dancers, singers and actors! Everyone is welcome! Japanese Club: The Akebi high school students are coming to BHS Dec 2-5 and we are designing posters for their arrival on Thurs, Dec 1. We have designs for our key chain fundraiser due on Dec. 1. BHS Counselors are offering a series of 'Career and College Readiness' Info Sessions. These sessions are held during Resource in the BHS Library and provide students with information on a variety of important topics. All students are welcome to attend; however, some sessions have a specific target grade level that can be seen when signing up. To attend, you must sign up in the Naviance College Visit Section.
