Proposed Corrective / Preventive actions Corrective Action

Take before and after photos of all items being repaired. Protect the coupler around the area that is being repaired with lint free cloth and / or rubber clean room glove. Use the HEPA vacuum during any particle generating operations. Remove a minimal amount of material, when abrading damaged area. With a strip of 800 grit Microfinish Cushioned Silicon Carbide Sanding Cloth (McMaster-Carr P/N 4611A314)to smooth initial damaged area, using a back and forth motion with light finger pressure to remove any sharp edges. Then finish repair by repeating previous step using 1200 grit Microfinish Cushioned Silicon Carbide Sanding Cloth (McMaster-Carr P/N 4611A313) Clean the repaired area with lint free clean room wipe and ethyl alcohol. Inspect repair and complete visual and metrology receiving inspection. ESD bag coupler cold part. Ship to Bldg. 6 for ultrasonic cleaning, leak check, and assemble for R.F. processing.
