Answer: Use a safety gate or block it with something from the home. Always assist a young child when learning how to go up/down the steps.

Answer: Never leave a baby alone in a bathtub! Ignore the doorbell. If it is important, someone will call the home phone or the parent’s cell and leave a message.

7. Bed Time

To handle this situation, what do you do and say to Suzy?

Answer: Tell Suzy instead of watching TV, she can choose a bedtime story that you will read to her. Help her pick out a book while she changes into her pajamas.

8. Changing a Diaper

What might occur if Celeste were left on the bed?

Answer: Celeste could roll off the bed and hit her head falling to the floor. She could also make a mess on the bed in the process.
