INFORMATION FOR THE REQUEST OF VISAS Note that: The office in charge of the issue of Visas only receives by appointment. The opening hours are: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 12am, except holidays. Appointments must be arranged long before the date of the trip to Italy by calling the following numbers: 1 570 787 661 (the call will cost you 1,75 euros per minute, fees may vary) or 6642312. The last number can be called during the following days/times only: Mon/Tue/Wed/Fri from 3pm to 4.30pm On Thursday from 10am to 11.30am Foreign relatives of EU citizens may submit the request to this Embassy. Therefore, foreign relatives of EU citizens who match the characteristics of the categories enlisted in article of law 2, paragraph 2, and in article of law 3, paragraph 2, of law 2004/38/CE, do not need to arrange an appointment by calling the above mentioned numbers. In order not to wait in a long queue, those who belong to those categories and who need a visa, may arrange an appointment with this Embassy by sending an e-mail to the following address: [email protected]. Visas will be issued after ten working days (two weeks). However, the procedure may take more time, therefore it is highly recommended to start the procedure well in advance. Even if the application forms are accepted, it is not guaranteed that the visa will be issued. No law guarantees the right to obtain a visa. The page states the:

- Possibility to obtain a visa;

- The requested documents;

- The institution to which the request must be sent;

- The fees. Note that:  The application form for the issue of a visa must be submitted together with the copy of all the requested documents. Incomplete requests that do not include all the requested documents will not be processed. Documents sent via fax or by post will not be accepted;  Those who want to request a visa must come to this Embassy after having been arranged an appointment with this Embassy, because it is necessary to identify the applicants;  Applicants may be required to submit more documents;  We remind you that Schengen visas holders will be checked and they may not be admitted into the countries who signed the Schengen Agreement.
