COMPETITION CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

XXVIII EDITION OF LOGICAL LINGUISTICS AND MATHEMATICAL OLYMPIC GAMES,under the patronage of the University of Bari “ A.Moro” and Poytechnic of Bari

This competition is suitable to all students at any school level, aimed to the learning and teaching of maths, according to Emma Castelnuovo’s Didactic.

European Year of Cultural Heritage

Art. 1 – All students from 5 to 18 years old of different European Schools can subscribe to the competition

Art. 2 –The first competition will take place at each home school on February 2018 while the final competition will be held on 5th may 2018,simultaneously in the regional and Italian schools and universities or in the European seats ( the participation is open to all students after a previous selection by a unique committee).

Art.3 – The registration form can be submitted via email to [email protected] or [email protected] or via fax +39 080 3448581 by 30/12/2017.

Art. 4 – Each school will receive a package with the exam papers and provided with the relative solutions via email. The solutions must be elaborated individually in a word or pdf formatted document and shall be submitted via email to: [email protected]

Art. 5 - The list of students who passed the first selection will be sent via email and published on Gioiamathesis’s website within 30rd march 2018.

Art. 6 – The admission list will be published within 30rd of May 2018 on Gioiamathesis’s website and will be communicated by email to all schools. The winners of first, second and third position will receive a certificate, respectively gold, silver and bronze medals and the schools and teachers will be also awarded with a certificate of merit.

Art. 7 - Only in case of request of an envelope containing paper materials with tests and sheets for solutions (by ordinary mail), a refund contribution for the postage expenses will be required to the institutes that request this service. * The registration fee is € 2 for each student enrolled. Pupils in economic difficulties can be registered for free. The shipping cost for each package is 30 Euro for 100 student, 40 euro for 200, more than 200. Keep in mind if you want to receive the notebooks with practice exercises, the shipping costs vary according to the number of copies. The bulletin of current account specify the home school or the teacher's name or contact person what the teacher to which the materials must be submitted. Make a one cumulative payment of registration fees and expenses and it is possible to make a cumulative payment for registration and materials.
