Yes, we think of their family and friends, but we also think of the people at Piyami who regularly experience such losses in their home. We continue to pray for Bertha T and for Everett T and for their families. Everett was transferred to the Lethbridge Hospital later in the week.

3 From the Deacons - Offerings for May:

 May 21 - Deacons Fund: Deacons realize that benevolence is a quality of our life in Christ, and not merely a matter of financial assistance. Deacons are therefore called to assess need, promote stewardship and hospitality, collect and disburse resources for benevolence and develop programs of assistance.  May 28 - Back to God International: Their mission is to use God’s story to reframe lives all around the world, using media to share the Gospel, disciple believers, and strengthen the church.

Iron Springs Announcements :

 Reflection: Recently we celebrated Easter and this coming week we celebrate Christ’s Ascension to the throne of the Father. But we wonder if we see the effect of these momentous occasions in the average person’s life. Do you live differently because Christ died and rose again? Does this give us hope and strength? Does it make a difference that Christ is King? Do you follow his will for your life? Do you think about the risen and ascended Christ as you make decisions day to day? If you do, then Easter and Ascension Day have a powerful impact on your life. If you do not, then how does the risen and ascended Christ impact your life?  Vacation Bible School (VBS)- July 3-July 7: Imagine a world where curious kids become hands-on inventors who discover they're lovingly crafted by God.
