General State of Duties

This vacancy is open until filled. To develop principles of fair play, a sense of confidence, and self-discipline through the development and extension of various Golf skills as provided by interscholastic competition.

Essential Duties

 Organizes the overall Girls Golf program  Prepares players both physically and mentally for interscholastic competition through practice, teaching of fundamental skills, and knowledge of rules  Supervises the cleaning, storage, and proper care of all equipment  Fosters good school-community relations by keeping the community aware of and responsive to the athletic program  Conducts pre-season meetings with parents and players  Prepares daily practice schedule and conducts practice sessions  Coordinates and Assists in Fundraising activities  Enjoy working with High School kids  Follows club sport by laws.  Determines game strategy based on the team’s capabilities.  Adheres to MHSAA and TVC rules  Coaches and instructs players, individually or in groups, regarding the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport. Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to manage the entire Girls Golf program through previous experience as a coach or player. Must be 18 years of age or older.
