Please continue to observe a Holy Lent and take a few quiet moments to re-examine your commitment to God’s purpose. Last Sunday attendance: 79 On Tuesday night March 3rd, we will continue our program on Heartfulness, Transformation in Christ. We will look into the human condition this week. Thomas Keating invites us to a spiritual journey this lent and to enter into prayer in silence. After Deacon Anthony reads the Gospel this week, I invite you to meditate on the Word of God before the sermon (you may have noticed that we no longer sing the third verse of the sequence hymn as the Gospel is returned to the altar). We are using Lectio Devina to ponder scripture again this Tuesday and we will be introducing centering prayer next week. This program is designed to lead us to a deeper relationship with Christ and a means to rest from the pressures and busyness that we face in our lives. Keating will help us to find a deeper meaning in our lives and healing in both body and spirit. Please join us on Tuesday for Stations of the Cross at 5:30, Evening Prayer at 6:00, supper (provided by the youth group) at 6:30, and our Adult Christian education program from 7:00-8:00. We have copies of last week’s program and this Tuesday’s program in the back of the church and at the small table by the piano.

Please join us for healing at the side altar after you receive the Holy Eucharis today. Deacon Anthony will be praying for and anointing with oil anyone who would like to have a special prayer said for them or a loved one. Please open your heart to God’s grace and love and allow the Holy Spirit to touch your heart. If you feel that you would like to be part of our healing ministry, please see Fr. Duncan or Deacon Anthony
