South Dakota State Fire School June 18-20, 2015 Schedule

All events and classes will be held at the TF Riggs High School located at 1010 East Broadway with the exception of off-site classes. Bussing will be provided to off-site classes.

Thursday (June 18) 10:00 am – Vendors can begin to set up (Riggs High School Gym) 1:00 pm – Registration opens (Riggs High School Gym) 2:00 pm – Evolutions (located in the west parking area of Riggs High School) 3:00 pm – Trade Show opens (Riggs High School Gym) 5:00 pm – Instructor Meeting 5:30 pm – Evening Meal provided by Pierre Fire (no cost) (Riggs High School Gym) 6:00 pm – Registration and Trade Show Closes 7:00 pm - Opening Ceremonies (Riggs High School Theatre) - Keynote Address Dr. Richard Gassaway (Riggs High School Theatre) - Memorial Service (Riggs High School Theatre)

Friday (June 19) 7:00 am- Registration and Trade show open (Riggs High School Gym) 7:30 am- Membership Meeting (Riggs High School Theatre) 8:30 am- Classes Begin 12:00-1:00 pm – lunch Food vendors available in (Riggs High School Gym) 1:00 pm - Classes Resume 5:00 pm – Registration Closes 5:00 pm – Trade Show Ends (no trade show on Saturday) 5:30 pm – Parade Line-up (Line-up at Griffin Park…700 east Missouri…along river) 6:00 pm - Parade starts (Ends at American Legion on S. Pierre Street) 6:30 – 7:30 – Dear Old Timer’s (Location TBD) Free concert in the evening at Steamboat Park Amphitheatre sponsored by Oahe Days Committee. Bring your own drinks or purchase from drink tent. (No Bottles Please)

Saturday (June 20) **No Trade Show 7:00 am - Registration opens (Riggs Gymnasium) 8:00 am – Classes Begin 11:00 am – 2:00 pm – Elections at SDFA Booth 12:00-1:00 pm – lunch Food vendors available in (Riggs Gymnasium) 1:00 pm – Classes Resume 5:15 pm – Membership Meeting (2nd Half) and Closing Ceremonies (Riggs High School Theatre) -Followed By: Drawings, Recognitions, Scholarships, Awards, Passing of the Ball Free concert in the evening at Steamboat Park Amphitheatre sponsored by Oahe Days Committee. Bring your own drinks or purchase from drink tent. (No Bottles Please)
