St. Paul, MN (08/23/13) – The crowds enthusiastically praised the 265 4-H participants in this year’s show. The show included many excellent chickens, ducks, geese, guineas, pigeons, doves, and turkeys. Dr. Evan Van Beusekom, Gary Rossman, and Bart Pals masterfully worked with the youth and evaluated the classes to recognize the excellence. The 4-H’ers proudly showed off their projects and shared their knowledge with the judges. Taking home top honors in Advance Showmanship was Jessica Turnlund of

Steele County while Taylor Fankhanel of Beltrami County earned the top Senior

Showmanship spot and Katherine Benson of Wadena County earned Champion Intermediate Showman.
