TIARE TAPORO seeks an experienced master for her delivery voyage, from Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada to Rarotonga, Cook Islands and possibly longer. The voyage is expected to begin in November 2011. The TIARE TAPORO is a 300 ton auxiliary sail cargo/training ship intended to Description of Position serve the Cook Islands. The successful candidate will have a 500 ton oceans license, minimum five years command time in ocean-going vessels and experience in sail training. Commercial seagoing and cargo experience would be assets. Solid marine credentials and good people skills a must.
