Biography Jeffrey W. Hall
Jeff Hall is a 1972 graduate of Grambling State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is presently serves as Senior Vice President Governmental Affairs & Chief Diversity Officer for Cleco Corporation, an electric services company headquartered in Pineville, Louisiana, that serves approximately 260,000 customers around the state. Jeff’s career began with the City of Alexandria in 1972 and included positions with the Central Louisiana Legal Service and Rapides Parish Police Jury before joining Cleco in 1981. In June 2006, Jeff founded and serves as the first President of the Central and Southwest Louisiana Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE). Jeff has served on the Board of Directors of numerous organizations including the First National Bank of Lafayette, the Opelousas/St. Landry Chamber of Commerce, the St. Landry Economic Development Board, the YMCA of Central Louisiana, the Greater Opelousas Economic & Industrial Development Committee, and is a past president of the DeSoto Parish Chamber of Commerce. Jeff is presently a member of the Rotary Club, the Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce, the Central Louisiana Business League, the Alexandria Central Economic Development District Board, and the Greater Alexandria Economic Development Authority. Jeff is an active member and Deacon of the True Vine Missionary Baptist Church of Alexandria. He is also actively involved with the local chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., and numerous grassroots community initiatives. Jeff and his wife, Patricia, have two children - - daughter, Nicole, and son, Christopher.
