BERMAGUI LADIES GOLF OPEN TOURNAMENT & CHALLENGE BOWL

CONDITIONS OF PLAY

1. Events are open to full playing Amateur lady members of Golf Clubs affiliated with GA. Exception: Event 16. Only members of clubs within the FSC & TGA district will be eligible to compete. 2. The rules of golf as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Club of St Andrews and the local rules of the Bermagiu Country Club Ltd Ladies Golf will govern play. 3. The match committee of the Bermagui Country Club Ladies Golf shall have full control of the competition and decide on disputes and/or protests. A players score card will be considered returned when it has been placed in the designated card box. 4. Competitors are required to report to the starter at least 30 minutes prior to hit-off time. 5. Event 2 - 4BBB Scratch event. a player may putt out if she is able to better her partners scratch score. 6. Challenge Bowl - The nominated team of four (4) players must be from the same club. Substitute players will be accepted prior to commencement of play. No entry fee will be refunded after the draw has been completed. The aggregate of the three (3) best scores will determine the Challenge Bowl winners. In the event of a tie the fourth (4) card shall be used in a count back. 7. Lena Welsh Trophy - The nominated teams of four (4) players must be from the same club. The aggregate score of all four (4) nominated players will decide the winning team. In the event of a tie the fourth (4) card shall determine the result (including any count back required). 8. Ties in event 1 on Sunday will be decided by a play-off over such holes as the match committee directs. Ties in other events will be decided by a count back under the Golf Australia method. 9. For events 1 - 14 inclusive on Sunday, only one trophy per player may be won. 10. The post entry teams event (event 19) the entry fee of $1.00 must be paid prior to the commencement of play. 11. Handicap divisions will be decided after receipt of entries. 12. Caddies and motorized transport are permitted (limited carts are available for hire. Please book through Pro-shop (Ph 02 64934657). 13. Dress requirements - neat tailored golfing apparel. 14. Entry fees must be enclosed with the entry forms. (Post entry of teams will be accepted). Cheques must be made out to the Bermagui Country Club Week of Golf. 15. 4BBB event - in the event that a player’s partner is unable to play due to unforeseen circumstances a "swinging" partner will be randomly allocated at the end of play. 16. Mobile phones - The penalty for the first unauthorized use of a mobile phone will be a warning followed by disqualification for subsequent use. Distance Measuring Devices may be used for measuring distance only. Breach of rule 14-3 will apply.
