Stage 1-3 Must Be Completed Before Staff Will Be Employed by LMPA

Dear Staff Member,

Thank you for your enquiry re: working with LMPA, our induction is a staged approach. Please find information below about our induction process. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions at any time.

Stage One Online Induction – this letter, with active links can be found on the LMPA website www.lmpa.org.au under ‘Employment/Relief Employment’ Stage Two Employment Pack Stage Three Induction DVD Stage Four Orientation to the service - Relievers first time working at the service Stage Five New Permanent Staff

Stage 1-3 must be completed before staff will be employed by LMPA

Stage One - Online Induction Policies Read and Survey Completed In order to complete stage one you are required to complete pre-induction reading of our policies. Please find these listed on our website www.lmpa.org.au under ‘Resources’ / ‘Policies’.

Policies required to be read prior to completing survey.  Anaphylaxis Management - QA2  Delivery and Collection of Children (V.1.1) - QA2  Incident, Injury, Trauma & Illness - QA2  Supervision of Children - QA2  Occupational Health & Safety – QA3  Staff Code of Conduct – QA4  Workplace Bullying – QA4  Interactions with Children - QA5  Complaints and Grievances- QA7  Confidentiality and Privacy - QA7  Social Media – QA7

Child Protection Protocol Online Training You also need to complete the child protection protocol training which involves viewing 3 brief videos, total viewing time 30 minutes and or reading the booklet (only the sections relevant to kindergarten need to be read, not school or family day care) & step by step guide which accompany the video.

Completing the Policies Survey and the Child Protection Protocol Certificate will conclude Stage One of our LMPA Induction process.

Stage Two - Employment Pack

Version 1.4 March 2015 Please complete all Employment Pack information as listed in Stage Two on the Staff Induction Checklist. Please keep a copy for your personal records & forward original copy to LMPA.

LMPA Complex Works Log & Procedure Simple Maintenance Request Staff Handbook (attachments still to be finalised)

Once viewed please complete the LMPA Staff Induction Checklist stage 1, 2 & 3 and return signed to LMPA, 10A Merino Court.

CONGRATULATIONS Once LMPA has received your fully completed and signed LMPA Staff Induction Checklist you have completed LMPA’s full induction. You will be sent a name badge and a display folder which you are now required to take with you when you are employed at an LMPA service.

Be prepared to be called upon for relief work with LMPA.
